1. Accettazione
Usando Split Expenses accetti questi termini. Se non li accetti, non usare il servizio. Il servizio è offerto da Lorenzo Appetito, contattabile a [email protected].
2. Che cosa offre il servizio
Split Expenses è uno strumento per registrare e ripartire spese condivise all'interno di un gruppo, e per tenere traccia dei saldi che ne derivano.
Il servizio non gestisce denaro. Non esegue pagamenti, non trasferisce fondi e non si collega a conti correnti, carte o servizi di pagamento. Importi, ripartizioni e rimborsi sono annotazioni contabili inserite dagli utenti: i pagamenti reali avvengono fuori dall'app, fra le persone coinvolte.
I calcoli hanno finalità informativa. Restano sempre gli utenti a decidere se un conto è corretto e a regolarlo fra loro.
3. Account
- Devi avere almeno 16 anni per creare un account.
- I dati che inserisci alla registrazione devono essere veri e mantenuti aggiornati.
- Sei responsabile della custodia delle tue credenziali e delle attività svolte con il tuo account. Se sospetti un accesso non autorizzato, avvisaci subito.
- Puoi chiedere la cancellazione dell'account scrivendo all'indirizzo di contatto.
4. Uso consentito
Usando il servizio ti impegni a non:
- inserire contenuti illeciti, offensivi o che violino diritti altrui;
- caricare dati personali di terzi senza che ne siano informati, in particolare foto di documenti o scontrini che contengano informazioni non necessarie alla spesa;
- tentare di accedere ad account, liste o dati che non ti riguardano;
- interferire con il funzionamento del servizio, sovraccaricarlo o aggirarne i limiti tecnici;
- usare il servizio per finalità commerciali senza accordo scritto.
5. Contenuti che carichi
Quello che inserisci — spese, note, foto degli scontrini — resta tuo. Ci concedi soltanto quanto serve a far funzionare il servizio: conservare quei contenuti, mostrarli agli altri membri della lista in cui li hai inseriti ed elaborarli per calcolare i saldi. Nessun altro uso, nessuna cessione a terzi.
Sei responsabile di ciò che carichi e del diritto di caricarlo. Possiamo rimuovere contenuti manifestamente illeciti o segnalati come tali.
6. Disponibilità del servizio
Il servizio è gratuito e fornito «così com'è», senza garanzia di funzionamento continuo. È un progetto personale ospitato su infrastruttura privata: possono verificarsi interruzioni, manutenzioni o perdite di dati dovute a guasti. Ti consigliamo di non usarlo come unica registrazione di conti importanti.
Le funzionalità possono cambiare nel tempo. Se il servizio dovesse cessare, ne daremo notizia in app e via email con un preavviso ragionevole, così da permettere l'esportazione dei dati.
7. Responsabilità
Nei limiti consentiti dalla legge, non rispondiamo di danni derivanti dall'uso del servizio, e in particolare di controversie economiche fra utenti, di calcoli basati su dati inseriti in modo errato, o dell'indisponibilità temporanea del servizio. Nulla in questi termini limita i diritti che la legge riconosce ai consumatori.
8. Sospensione e cessazione
Puoi smettere di usare il servizio quando vuoi. Possiamo sospendere o chiudere un account che violi questi termini o che danneggi altri utenti, dandone motivazione all'indirizzo email associato.
9. Modifiche ai termini
Se questi termini cambiano, aggiorneremo la data in cima alla pagina e segnaleremo in app le modifiche sostanziali. Continuare a usare il servizio dopo la modifica significa accettarla.
10. Legge applicabile
Si applica la legge italiana. Per i consumatori resta competente il foro del luogo di residenza o domicilio, secondo quanto previsto dalla normativa vigente.

2. What the service does
Split Expenses is a tool for recording and splitting shared expenses within a group, and for keeping track of the resulting balances.
The service does not handle money. It makes no payments, transfers no funds and connects to no bank account, card or payment provider. Amounts, splits and settlements are bookkeeping entries made by users: actual payments happen outside the app, between the people involved.
Calculations are informational. It is always up to the users to decide whether an account is correct and to settle it between themselves.
3. Account
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- The details you provide when signing up must be true and kept up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you suspect unauthorised access.
- You can request deletion of your account by writing to the contact address.
4. Acceptable use
When using the service you agree not to:
- enter unlawful or offensive content, or content that infringes someone else's rights;
- upload other people's personal data without their knowledge, in particular photos of documents or receipts containing information not needed for the expense;
- try to access accounts, lists or data that are not yours;
- interfere with the service, overload it or work around its technical limits;
- use the service for commercial purposes without a written agreement.
5. Your content
What you enter — expenses, notes, receipt photos — remains yours. You grant us only what is needed to run the service: storing that content, showing it to the other members of the list you added it to, and processing it to compute balances. No other use, and no sharing with third parties.
You are responsible for what you upload and for having the right to upload it. We may remove content that is manifestly unlawful or reported as such.
6. Availability
The service is free and provided "as is", with no guarantee of continuous operation. It is a personal project running on private infrastructure: outages, maintenance windows and data loss caused by failures are possible. We recommend not relying on it as the only record of important accounts.
Features may change over time. Should the service be discontinued, we will announce it in the app and by email with reasonable notice, so that data can be exported.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use of the service, and in particular for financial disputes between users, for calculations based on incorrectly entered data, or for temporary unavailability. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law grants to consumers.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or harms other users, stating the reason to the associated email address.
9. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we will update the date at the top of this page and announce substantial changes in the app. Continuing to use the service after a change means accepting it.
10. Governing law
Italian law applies. For consumers, the courts of their place of residence or domicile remain competent, as provided by applicable law.
